Nor-Easter 2006,

Now this is officially a whole lot of snow, perhaps even qualifies as a "whack" of the white stuff. It has been reported to be over 22 inches in central park - the second highest single snowfall on record in The City. We went out to play in it nice and early, finding Washington Sqare filled with revelers old and young.

There are a few large cement hills in Washington Square Park. Their lack of apparent usefulness or pleasing aesthetic place them in the category of the type of public art which causes some citizens to question whether pubic art is a really necessary. Well, it was great to see them put to a good use today.

Beautiful pics. I like the snow and grey sky. Wish I was there too.

Hey Kieran! I found your blog - would love to see you down in New York some day - I'm still in Montreal, but I'm planning an NYC trip in June. Lets do some hook ups!
